The FS-150SK Open Country® has Combined the elegance of European design with the performance of a professional food slicer.

Slice meat, cheese , bread, vegetables and fruit quickly and easily with this quality slicer. Features precision depth control and a strong, high quality 150 watt gear motor. Variable thickness control dial selects slices from deli-thin 1/32" to 1/2" thick. Large multi-purpose 7-1/2 inch stainless steel blade handles a wide range of food sizes and shapes.

If you expect to slice a lot of cheese, we recommend a motor of 130 watts or more. Cheese can create a lot of blade drag but the FS-150PR slicer's motor has the power to take it in stride.

Great but a little loud!

I mostly use this slicer for slicing roasts for jerky or to slice meats that I cook and then vacuum pack for the freezer. It does an excellent job slicing meats, with a nice range of thicknesses. I have had problems with slicing soft cheese and having it stick to the blade but that may be a problem with most of these slicers, it's easy to get around. The only downside is that it is a little loud when running, but it shouldn't be a problem - it isn't for me. Great slicer
